Hand rejuvenation
From the age of 40 onwards, hands begin to deteriorate, especially on the back of the hands, where the signs of ageing are most noticeable. Brittle skin, spots and an increase in the venous network are some of the signs that our hands are losing the youthful appearance they once had.
The hands, along with the face, are one of the parts of the body that we show the most throughout the year and where the signs of ageing can be seen the most. For this reason, more and more patients are asking us for hand rejuvenation treatment to help them recover their smoothness and softness. It is now also possible to have cared for, smooth and younger-looking hands.
There are different types of treatments to improve the appearance of the hands. One of the newest and most effective is the infiltration of Radiesse™ (calcium hydroxyapatite) on the back of the hands, which fills and rejuvenates the skin and whose effects last up to two years. At our Clínica Bajo in Los Cristianos (Tenerife) it is the product that has given us the best results.
Radiesse™ Hand Rejuvenation
Radiesse™ is the latest innovation in hand rejuvenation treatment. It consists of the infiltration of a vial of the product into each of the backs of the hands, which is then spread evenly over the entire surface through a massage. It is performed under local anaesthesia and the results can be seen immediately, although the patient must wait up to a month to see the definitive effect.
This treatment gives hands a more youthful appearance, visibly reducing veins and providing greater hydration. In addition, it can be combined with skin blemish reduction techniques to achieve a perfect effect.
