Tightening threads

The tensor threads are used for the treatment of skin elasticity of the face, neck and body. They produce a self-induced lifting, i.e. the skin itself generates the elasticity. The threads induce the generation of collagen around the inserted thread without the need for surgery, but also with much more discreet results.

It is mainly aimed at prevention or patients with slight sagging.

The threads are made of a reabsorbable material that is introduced into the subcutaneous tissue inducing the synthesis of natural collagen. In this way they tighten and redensify the skin.

The effects are noticeable after one month and last approximately 18 months.

What are mini-threads and what are they for?

The procedure for the application of tensor threads is relatively simple and quick (15-30 minutes).

The technique consists of the insertion of small needles loaded with silhouette soft threads that remain in the dermis once the needles are removed.

One of the main benefits of the mini-threads is that the patient does not need any recovery time. The patient’s return to daily life is almost immediate and can even apply make-up.

The availability of different needle sizes facilitates the treatment and adaptation to each area and the patient’s characteristics.

Before starting. Recommendations.

• If you are taking painkillers, avoid aspirin, as it favours the appearance of haematomas.

• Avoid coffee, tobacco and stimulants in general.

• The treatment should be carried out by doctors with specific training in aesthetic medicine.

After treatment

• Bruising and swelling may occur. These are normal reactions to the procedure and will disappear within two weeks.

• The area can be gently washed after 4-5 hours, but avoid sudden movements, excessive mouth opening, loud laughter or any other stimulation of the facial muscles for the next few days.

• Do not massage the area during the first month. Avoid saunas and heat sources.

• Light make-up may be used. Excessive make-up on the treated area is not recommended.

Results
